Steel Guru as media partner is proud to present you the 5th China International Coking Technology and Coke Market Congress 2007 which is going to be held by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Coking Industry Association (CCIA) and Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT) on 27-28 June 2007 in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China.
Shanxi is the largest coal (coke) producing Province in China, and Taiyuan is the capital of the Province. To closely visit the major province of the coke-producing base, to enlarge the business contact, to increase the business opportunities, we shift our congress venue to Taiyuan city for our participants, we hope our attendees would have a new fresh experience.
China is not only the largest coke producing country, but also the largest country for consuming and exporting coke. In China, steel prices continue to surge, while the availability of natural resources remains uncertain. Up to now, the situation of China coking industry is taking a stable and favorable turn with the adjustment of enterprises' construction. According to official statistics, in 2006, China's coke output reached over 290 million tons, with 280 million tons for domestic consumption and 14.5 million tons for export.
