Meigang HR plate mill crosses 20 million tonnes since inception

It is reported that up to March 2008, Meigang’s 1442 HR Steel Plant has produced 20.55 million tonnes of HR plates since it put into production in November in 1994.

After the completion of the production line, the company completed 10 million tonnes of rolled products with 10 years, and then only used 3 years to complete 10 million tonnes of rolled products again.

In recent years, the hot rolled plant fully exerted management, technology synergies and strengthened technological research. At the same time, with the successful exploitation of low carbon bainitic steel MDB350, subsea pipeline steel X65, non-sulfureted hydrogen pipeline steel X52 etc high value added products, the market competitiveness of Meigang’s HR products is constantly reinforced.
