Handan Steel starts changing color coating line into EG

It is reported that North China's Hebei Province based Handan Steel has initiated the innovating project of changing the cold rolling mill's No 2 color coating line into electro galvanizing line.

This project is reportedly to cost CNY 60.5 million designed to be finished in 10 months.

As per report, once the project is completed, the electro galvanizing line would make 120,000 tonnes electro galvanized sheet per annum, mainly fingerprint resistant, phosphated sheet or sheet without any treatment, available for selling directly or as the base sheet for color coating.

The products target computer, liquid crystal or plasma TV and high end home appliance for use.
