Baosteel increase June price of some products

It is reported that Baosteel has slightly raised prices of some products for June, such as wire rod, steel pipe etc.

Among the wire rod products, the prices of prestressed steel wire and strand high carbon steel, super low carbon steel and steel fiber raised CNY 300 per tonne.

Welded steel products price and steel wire for metal card clothing raised CNY 500 per tonne respectively.

The price of chromium plating raised CNY 300 per tonne generally. Among the steel pipe,

Baosteel raised steel pipe price for CNY 200 to 300 per tonne and CNY 100 to 200 per tonne price uplifting for Lu Bao steel tube plant, as well as CNY 200 price uplifting for precision tube.

Mr Zhoutao analyst of SinoLink Securities said the price rising of Baosteel reflected the steel demands in domestic market.
