It is reported that Shagang iron and steel logistics center master plan had passed the preliminary evaluation in Rugao port area it indicated that the construction of the project further accelerate.

Shagang logistics project is the largest steel storage, information trading, processing, packing, distribution modern logistics distribution center in east of China, mainly service to shipbuilding, automobile, home appliance, transportation, equipment manufacturing industries in middle and lower of Yangtze River.

The project includes: logistics, a number of industrial projects, and public support auxiliary projects. The investment of the project is CNY 29.2 billion, the throughput of the ports and railways will exceed 70 million tonnes.
