It is reported that recently, Meigang Company produced 1,500 tonnes of high quality steel for the disaster area just using four days.

Earlier, Chongqing Iron and Steel Corporation ordered 1,500 tonnes of steel coil from Bayi Steel, because of the Wenchuan earthquake, Bao-Cheng railway was interruption, the goods could not been delivered to the users. On May16th 2008, Baosteel utilized the marketing integration platform to transfer the supply contract to Meigang.

After receiving the mission, Meigang Company fully understood the importance and particularity of this mission, it asked all the staff to change the earthquake relief enthusiasm into power, to successfully complete the mission. Up to May 19th 2008 1,500 tonnes products had been produced, it is the contract with shortest production period in Meigang’s history.
