EU nears decision on duties in Chinese galvanized dumping case
It is reported that the investigation into imports of hot dip galvanized steel from China into the European Union will be on the agenda of the European Commission’s next anti dumping committee meeting on Thursday.
Sources from the Commission and interested bodies tell Steel Business Briefing, the Commission will inform representatives of EU member states on the current state of the investigation and consult on ways in which to proceed. The options are either to discard the case, pursue the imposition of provisional anti-dumping measures, or extend the investigation.
