It is reported that the newly proved coal field at Hegang mining area and Quiying mountain in Heilongjiang province of China is preliminarily estimated to reach a deposit of 319 million tonnes above the marked elevation of minus 900 meters.
As per report, the Hegang coal mine prospecting project was reportedly slated to finish a drilling task of 16,000 million in two years. 9300 million is schemed to be completed by the end of 2008 and the left 7000 million has been augmented to 17960 million.
The construction, once completed, will acquire a coal reserve of some 319m tons above the market elevation of minus 900 meters, effectively abating the resource strain in Heilongjiang and the whole North China and backing up the sustainable development of coal industry.
