Shanxi Longmen to build largest coke project in Hancheng

It is reported that, Shaanxi Longmen Coal Chemical Industry Company set to build the coking project October 15th 2008 in Hancheng at a cost of CNY 4.27 billion, expecting to generate 5.58 million tonnes coke, 600,000 tonnes methanol, 130,000 tonnes carbon black and 100,000 tonnes Sulfur free benzene once put into operation.

Shaanxi Longmen Coal Chemical Industry Company is a combined fruit of five large scale enterprises including Shaanxi Longmen Coal Chemical Industry Group Company limited, Shanxi Longmen Steel etc.

The new item has secured raw material supply and channels for selling the products with its investors ranging from coal enterprise to the downstream steel mills.
