Sunday, 02 Nov 2008

Inprom announced that it has launched modern shot-blasting lines at its branches in Saransk and Perm.

The German-built equipment provides high quality metal cleaning of steel products including large size welded beams and structures widely used in the construction sector.

The equipment is designed for high quality metal surface cleaning, in compliance with the European standard SA3, with high coating adhesion and long-time corrosion protection, thus increasing service life of steel products. It is capable of cleaning and coating steel products up to 12 meter long, 2 meter wide and 0.5 meter high, with steel thickness of up to 60 mm.

The company plans to install the same line at its steel service center in Samara later this year. Earlier Inprom launched shot blasting lines at its branches in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd, St. Petersburg, Ryazan, and Nizhny Novgorod.
