It is reported that Bogdan Corp won the tender to supply 83 city buses to municipality of Batumi. The worth of contract is USD 3.4 million. The shipment plans to be in January 2009.
As was reported by Ukranews Agency, previously Bogdan Corp. won the tender to supply to municipality of Tbilisi 360 buses till the end 2008.
Millennium Capital analysts said that “Bogdan tries to cover reducing of the cash flow from passenger car sales by increasing of bus sales. Its plans to find new markets for their buses in Belorussia as well as in other states with plan economics and the tenders in Georgia are the links of one chain. We see this news as POSITIVE.”
