SKF India to put Haridwar facility on hold
Sunday, 16 Nov 2008

BS reported that due to the current slowdown in the automotive sector, SKF India has decided to put on hold the INR 150 crore bearings manufacturing facility at Hardware.

It may be pointed out that SKF had earlier planned the 10 acre plant to go on stream by 2008, but has now decided to postpone the work at the plant and expects to commission the plant in the first quarter of 2010.

AB SKF, which operates in India through its subsidiary SKF India, currently has three manufacturing facilities, two in Bangalore and one in Pune and another being constructed in Ahmedabad.
