Interfax Ukraine reported that Naftohaz Ukrainy has admitted USD 380 million debt owed to RosUkrEnergo for gas delivered in September.
Mr Ihor Didenko first deputy chairperson of the board NJSC at a panel discussion named "Ukraine's energy policies amid global economic turmoil” said that "We have agree upon completely settling the debt for September, which makes USD 380 million, before the week ends."
He added that the company would also begin repaying its debts for October.
Mr Didenko marked, Naftohaz Ukrainy owes a debt to RosUkrEnergo equal to the amount of gas presently stored in Ukrainian underground repositories and this indebtedness is not connected with the gas supplies for the Q1 and Q2 of the ongoing year.
