Honda Motorcycle announces INR 300 crore expansion plan

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, a wholly owned arm of Honda Motor Company, has decided to invest INR 300 crore to implement expansion plans and launch new models.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is developing a new facility to produce new model Honda 100 cc motorbike, which is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2010. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India intends to produce 200,000 motorbikes in the first year of operation.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have already invested INR 800 crore in India.
