Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is likely to connect the sectors along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway to Noida and Delhi which is likely to be extended up to Jewar.
The final plan and layout for connecting the Noida to Greater Noida to Jewar by the Metro have already been approved by the Noida Industrial Development Authority and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
The 22.5 kilometer Noida-Greater Noida stretch is expected to have eight stops. The proposed project is likely to cost around INR 4,500 crore. However, NOIDA and GNIDA authorities are yet to finalize the rate at which electricity will be provided to the DMRC for running the entire system. Both Delhi and Mumbai have signed contracts to supply power to the DMRC at special rates.
