Ambuja Cements said that it dispatched 1.639 million tonnes cement in April this year as compared to 1.48 million tonnes in the same month last year.
Ambuja Cements in a release said that its production also grew to 1.651 million tonnes in April 2009 as against 1.545 million tonnes in the same month last year. It added that during the January to April period of the year, Ambuja Cements dispatched 6.638 million tonnes and produced 6.610 million tonnes of cement.
