MMZ update on January to April 2009 performance

Moldavian Metallurgical Plant has announced its production results for January to April 2009.
During the period in question, MMZ produced 124,572 tonnes of crude steel and 155,074 tonnes of finished steel products. MMZ’s January to April 2009 deliveries amounted to 117,290 tonnes including 63,783 tonnes to non-CIS countries, and 53,507 tonnes to CIS countries.
In April 2009 MMZ successfully achieved its monthly production targets, manufacturing 34,274 tonnes of crude steel, and 41,170 tonnes of finished steel products, including 31,478 tonnes of rebar and 9,692 tonnes of wire rod.
MMZ’s April deliveries amounted to 12,720 tonnes including 4,944 tonnes to non-CIS countries and 7,776 tonnes to CIS countries.
