It is reported that Chinese Anshan Iron & Steel Group ship hulls and marine oil production platform used steel products were accredited by 5 countries classification society in early May.
Co-developed by Angang and Beijing Iron & Steel Research Institute, the steel products feature high strength, complete range of specs and good weld ability. So far, Angang has produced 0.15 million tonnes of the products.
The authentication also fills the blank of the products in China, and is of great significance for low cost and high efficient production for large-sized ship and marine oil production platform.
