CNPC Jilin oilfield yielded 358 million cubic meters of gas in 5 months

China Knowledge reported that China National Petroleum Corporation Jilin oilfield produced 358 million cubic meters of natural gas in the first five months of this year a sharp growth of 95.63%YoY.
In the first four months, the natural gas output of the oilfield, located in Fuyu County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province hit 182 million cubic meters.
Due to weak demand in the crude oil market, the oilfield has tried to generate more natural gas to make up for the loss. The field targets an annual yield of 250 million cubic meters of hydrocarbon gas and annual output of 550 million cubic meters of carbon-based gas.
In the period from January to April this year, Jilin oilfield put into operation 44 new wells with a combined daily crude oil output of 120 tonnes.
