AK Steel named certified supplier of CRGO by AREVA SA

AK Steel announced that it has been selected as a “Certified Supplier” of high quality, grain-oriented electrical steels by the AREVA Transformer and Distribution Division of AREVA. The award was presented in a ceremony in Washington DC.

Achieving Certified Supplier status from this valued customer reflects AK Steel’s continuing dedication to superior product quality and outstanding customer satisfaction.”

AREVA’s Certified Supplier designation is awarded to a select number of AREVA’s suppliers that meet or exceed twenty-five key criteria including product quality, innovation and competitiveness.

AK Steel supplies grain oriented electrical steels to AREVA T&D for the manufacture of energy efficient power transformers at plants in Europe, South America, Asia and other locations around the world.
