Dow Oil & Gas a division of The Dow Chemical Company a leading science and technology company announced its support of the Qatargas 2, the world's first fully integrated value chain liquefied natural gas facility.

Dow Specialty Solvent SELEXOL a one of a kind physical solvent was selected by Qatargas as the solvent of choice to enable Qatargas trains 4 and 5 to treat natural gas more efficiently.

SELEXOL™ offers significant value to the gas treating process, including:
1. Significant cost savings - enabling a smaller train to accommodate the same amount of contaminants
2. Guaranteed performance - proven technology in this application time after time

Janet Giesselman GM of Dow Oil & Gas said that “We are proud of our participation in the Qatargas 2 project. Qatargas’ achievements in LNG value chain integration are a landmark achievement for the energy industry.
