Ducon bags order from BHEL

Projects Today reported that Ducon Technologies Inc has bagged an order from BHEL for a limestone based Flue gas Desulfurization system for 3 x 250 MW thermal power plant being set up by NTPC at Bongaigaon in Assam.
The company's scope of work includes complete engineering, supply, manufacture, erection supervision, commissioning and performance guarantees. Ducon's Indian operation located in Thane, India will assist in executing the project.
However, Ducon FGD technology is a zero discharge system utilizing all wastewater in the system thus reducing the need for fresh water and eliminating waste disposal costs.
