PTI reported that Power Finance Corporation will raise INR 23,000 crore by the end of this fiscal through issue of bonds.
Mr Satnam Singh CMD of PFC said “We will raise INR 23,000 crore through bonds and plans to disburse the same amount this fiscal.”
Besides, it plans to sanction INR 20,000 crore of loans this fiscal.
Mr Singh said the request for qualification for three Ultra Mega Power Projects in the states of Tamil Nadu, Orissa and Chhattisgarh would be invited in the next 3 months.
