
Trade Arabia reported that UAE hospitality group Abu Dhabi National Hotels has awarded Al Jaber Engineering and Contracting, the contract to build the luxury Park Hyatt Hotel and Villas Abu Dhabi at the Saadiyat Island.
Mr Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri chairman of ADNH said after the signing ceremony that “This includes construction of the building’s foundation, shell and envelope as well as interior finishes including fixtures, furniture and fittings. Such moves help boost the UAE’s travel and tourism sector into new horizons by providing the relevant infrastructure.”
As per the agreement signed, Alec will be the main contractor for this world class development and will be responsible for all construction, building and finishing works for the hotel, its facilities and villas.

The Saadiyat Park Hyatt Hotel and Villas Abu Dhabi, a 75,000 square meters luxury resort of premium accommodation, dining and leisure facilities on the northern beach of Saadiyat Island is scheduled for completion in the Q1 of 2011. It will have 316 rooms, suites and villas in addition to four signature restaurants and dedicated facilities for conferences, banqueting and recreation.
