The Financial Express reported that Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company, a TATA Steel’s 100% subsidiary has won a leak detection and rectification order for various divisions of Chennai city from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board for INR 183.7 million.
According to report, the contract is to be completed in 18 months and would be funded 35% by the ministry of urban development, 15% by the Tamil Nadu government under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission and 50% by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board.
