Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant announced that, following its decision to increase its output, it has recommissioned its silicomanganese melting furnaces No 18 and No 17 which had been idle for eight months.

Accordingly, in July NZF plans to produce more than 55,000 tonne of ferroalloys.

NZF’s production capacities allow it to produce one million tonne of silicomanganese per year, 250,000 mt per year of high carbon ferromanganese and more than 15,000 tonne per year of medium carbon ferromanganese. About 75% of NZF’s products are directed to the export markets.
