2 contract workers killed at RINL sinter plant project

BL reported that 2 contract workers died and another worker suffered serious injuries on Monday morning, when a crane overturned at the third sinter plant.
They were engaged in work taken up as a part of the expansion project.
More than ten workers were at the spot, it is learnt, and the others escaped unhurt. The bodies were sent to the King George Hospital in the city for postmortem. Agitated workers raised slogans, seeking compensation to the families of the deceased workers and better safety measures. - Our Bureau
