Al-Fahim Group to build USD 409 million Abu Dhabi mall

MEED reported that local developer Al-Fahim Group is planning to build a new shopping centre in the Shahama area of Abu Dhabi.
Known as Deerfields, the estimated AED1.5 billion project involves the construction of a mixed-use shopping mall. The mall will contain a supermarket and a cinema.
Al-Fahim has awarded the enabling works to the local National Dewatering. The consultant is UK-based RMJM.
The mall is close to several of the emirates's planned major new developments, such as Al-Raha Beach, the expanded Abu Dhabi International Airport and Khalifa Port & Industrial Zone at Taweelah.
