It is reported that Huaiyuan Economic Development Zone will be home to the largest stainless steel production center in the Auhui province as it is expected to be completed in 2010.
With an annual processing capacity of 600,000 tonnes of stainless steel, it will realize an annual output value of CNY 20 billion and become Anhui's largest stainless steel and stainless steel products manufacturing base.
Coping with this establishment, major industry chains will be developed which will include the areas of color stainless steel plates, stainless steel tubes, flanges, stainless steel fiber screens, stainless steel parts and stainless clad steel plates. In addition, the largest steel of Anhui province is now under construction. Due for completion in 2011, the market is expected to have an annual trade volume of over 2 million tonnes.
