KEC International secures domestic orders worth INR 471 crore

KEC International Limited, a global leader in the power transmission EPC business has won 4 orders totaling to INR 471 crore in the domestic market.

The 2 orders from North East Transmission Company Limited are for supply of towers, hardware, line materials and construction of

1. Package A3: 400 kV D/C Khelerihat-Byrnihat Transmission line route length 119 kilometers to be constructed in the State of Mehgalaya.

2. Package A4: 400 KV D/C Byrnihat-Bongaigaon Transmission line route length 203 kilometers to be constructed in the State of Assam. The transmission lines are associated with 726.6 MW gas based power plants at Pallatana in Tripura. Both the orders are scheduled to be completed by February 2012.

The 2 orders from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited are for supply of towers, line materials and construction of:

1. 400 S/C KV transmission lines associated with Kolaghat TPS on turnkey basis. The total route length of the lines is 90.5 Kilometers. The duration of the project is 24 months.

2. 220 KV D/C transmission lines from Kharagpur 400 KV Substation to Midnapore 220/132 KV substation and 220 KV D/C transmission lines from 400 XV Subhasgram (PGCIL) Substation to Saltala on turnkey basis. The total route length of the lines is 58.5 kilometers. The duration of the project is 18 months.
