Baosteel UOE Pipe wins bid for Guangdong natural gas project

It is reported that Guangdong natural gas pipe project has started working and Baosteel obtained the 5,000 tonnes UOE LSAW pipe supply contract in Huizhou section.

Guangdong natural gas pipe project, totally invested with CNY 45.8 billion with the entire length of 3,200 kilometers including 21 areas and cities in Guangdong province is going to become the largest-scale city administration group after it completes in 2020. The first-stage project with the investment of CNY 7 billion is predicted to start transportation by June 2011.

As per report in June 2009, Guangdong started the first public biddings for Huizhou section and Baosteel has gotten the bids after the considerable preparation work. Finally, Baosteel obtained 4 specs UOE pipes supply contract totaling 5,000 tonnes.
