JSL eyeing stainless steel supply order from Barcelona Railway

It is reported that Jindal Stainless Limited is hoping for a USD 10 to USD 15 million order from Barcelona Railways for supplying stainless steel.
Mr RK Goyal director (commercial) of JSL said that "They are experimenting use of our stainless steel for platform flooring. There is enormous potential for increasing use of stainless steel in railways because of the anti corrosion, lightweight and aesthetic quality of the material."
JSL is also in talks with the research and standardization division of Indian Railways namely RDSO, Lucknow, for use of its materials in wagons and coaches. Railway is a significant user of JSL's products.
