It is reported that KEC International Ltd and an RPG group company has won orders in the domestic and international space to the tune of INR 780 crores.
The report said that in the domestic market, the company has won an order of INR 587 crores from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited. The order is a part of the Strategic EPC Alliance program of MSETCL to augment its transmission network and enhance its ability to transfer and transmit power across the state.
The scope of the composite order includes survey, design, engineering, planning, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of:
1. 500 kilometers of 132 kV S/c & D/c Transmission lines along with 44 Nos of 132kV Substation End bays
2. 643 Kilometers of 220 kV S/C & D/C Transmission lines along with 26 Nos of 220kV Substation End bays.
The project is to be executed in Nagpur, Amravati & Aurangabad zones of MSETCL in the State of Maharashtra.
In the International market, the company has won orders worth INR 193 crores for Turnkey Transmission Lines in the Middle East to be executed in Kuwait, Oman and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
