It is reported that Maytas Infrastructure has incurred a net loss of INR 473.55 crore for the financial year ended March 31st 2009 as compared with the net profit of INR 90.74 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
On a consolidated basis, net revenues for the financial year ended March 31st 2009 were down 12.23% to INR 1,644.65 crore from INR 1,873.93 crore during the corresponding period previous year.
On a standalone basis, the company incurred a net loss of INR 489.78 crore as compared with a net profit of INR 99.94 crore previous year. Revenues dropped 18.47% to INR 1,334.87 crore compared with INR 1,637.35 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
For the quarter ended June 30, the company reported a net loss of INR 16.28 crore as against a net profit of INR 20.05 crore in the corresponding period previous year. It revenues for the quarter reported a fall of 46% to INR 208 crore from INR 384 crore during the corresponding period previous year.
