YUSCO to reduce its list price due to low LME nickel price

Taiwan's Yieh United Steel Corporation has announced that it would reduce its list price for the second half of the month due to the decreased LME nickel price.

It was the first time that stainless steel prices have witnessed a correction since April.

The price of 300 series stainless steel products was decreased by TWD 5,000 per tonne for the domestic market and USD 150 per tonne for the overseas market. The price for 400 series stainless steel products remained unchanged.

At the same time, Tang Eng also announced that it would cut the price of 300 series stainless steel price by TWD 5,000 per tonne as well. Both companies claimed that demand has recently remained stable.
