Japan Metal Bulletin reported that Chinese largest secondary alloyed aluminium maker Shanghai Sigma Metals starts construction of new USD 100 million plants in January 2010.
It would build new plant with annual 600,000 tonnes of production capacity on land with 540,000 square meters in Chongqing.
It expects the construction completes as early as end of 2011.
