Poland declares two day national mourning for mine explosion

Xinhua reported that Mr Lech Kaczynski president of Polish has declared a two day national mourning starting Monday after the tragic death of 13 miners from a coal mine explosion.
The explosion took place on Friday morning at the Wujek coal mine in Ruda Slaska south-western Poland in result of a methane explosion.
Forty miners injured in the catastrophe remained hospitalized on Sunday. Eighteen miners with serious burns were placed in the Siemianowice Burns Treatment Center.
The accident is being investigated by special teams made up of mining experts.
