Ratnamani Metals to expand Gandhidham unit capacity

Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd an Ahmedabad based provider of piping solutions, plans to increase production capacity of power plant application stainless steel tubes by 2,000 metric tonnes per annum.

As per report the capacity addition will take place at its manufacturing unit in Gandhidham. The company intends to raise the capacity of power plant application stainless tubes with an investment of INR 40 crore.

A top company officials said that "The capacity expansion will be completed by the end of March 2010.”

The official added that "Huge investments are happening in power sector. In order to meet the growing demand of power plant application stainless tubes, the company has decided to hike the capacity.”

The total production capacity of the company in this category is 23,000 tonne. In case of carbon steel pipes, its production capacity is 350,000 tonne.
