Dongkuk Steel to build USD 393 million steel plant in Incheon

It is reported that Dongkuk Steel plans to build up a USD 393 million steel plant in Incheon before 2012. The new plant will be about and the new plant will have one set of electric furnace with annual capacity of 1.2 million tonnes.
The company's annual steel output will rise from 6 million tonnes to 8.5 million tonnes. The major purpose that Dongkuk to build up this new plant is to weed out Dongkuk's old online equipment system and to increase the company's output in the future.
