Arab Steel reported that the maximum prices of Jordanian locally produced rebars have declined with EXW prices ranging between JOD 417 and JOD 435 no taxes included.
After adding taxes, these prices reach JOD 450 to JOD 470 JD according to the product type and size, as per the index sheet issued by Amman's Chamber of Commerce in agreement with local steel mills covering the period of next week starting from September 28th 2009.
This decline comes after the maximum EXW price of this month reached JOD 454 and JOD 490 tax included while the minimum prices remain unchanged.
According to a piece of news reported by the Jordanian, the Jordanian markets witnessed the coming of UAE rebar.
