Ms Zaurbekova is new executive director and CFO of ENRC

Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Zaure Zaurbekova as an executive director and CFO with effect from September 30th 2009.

Ms Zaurbekova has been CFO Kazakhstan since 2001. From late 2007, she was Deputy CFO of ENRC and has been Acting CFO since the departure of Miguel Perry in June 2009.

Dr Johannes Sittard chairman of ENRC said that "I am delighted to welcome Ms Zaure to the board and congratulate her on her appointment as CFO. She has great knowledge of the company and has done an excellent job as acting CFO over the past few months."
