It is reported that the Uralmash Machine Building Corporation will employ the engineering provided by KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH. This is their third joint contract to supply equipment to Russian cement makers.
KHD and Uralmashzavod will make the body of the rotating cement kiln for OJSC Novoroscement. It weighs 328 tonnes and has a diameter of 5.2 meters. The equipment must be shipped to the largest Russian cement exporter in May 2010.
MK Uralmash informed RusBusinessNews that the cooperation with KHD, the world's leader in cement equipment engineering and manufacturing, had begun in November 2007. This was when the first contract was signed for the supply of the kiln body to the Novotroitsk Cement Plant.
MK Uralmash makes equipment for metals, mining, oil and gas industry, construction materials manufacturing and power generation. The machine building corporation has manufacturing facilities in Ekaterinburg and Orsk.
