Mr Miguel Alvarez Cadiz CEO of Sidor, together with workers and steel workers, raised the flag, a symbol of having obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Certification, in recognition of the quality of processes and products of the company.
The raising was carried out after satisfying all the requirements demanded by the Fund for Standardization and Quality Certification, Fondonorma. The event took place on the outskirts of the gate I Sidor, which flies the flag of the ISO 9001:2008 certification accompanied by the flag of Venezuela and the flag of Steel Alfredo Maneiro.
Mr Alvarez Cadiz said that "This is the beginning of a new phase that meets Sidor, demonstrating that since the nationalization of the company have worked continuously on improving our processes and products. Besides confirming that "we have complied with the guidelines of the President of the Republic and the Minister Rodolfo Sanz, to receive after the nationalization as important certification that guarantees the quality of our processes and products, and demonstrates the interest of those who work day a day in the steel to bring this company is all Venezuelans."
He added that "This certification confirms that is occurring in Sidor steel quality, we are certifying all of our procedures, it is the work of all the Sidor workers, whether outsourced, contract, payroll driving, in short, all our workers."
Mr Rafael Vasquez director of quality of Sidor said that with this certification, Fondorma endorsed the Quality Management System Sidor, in all productive areas of the company, this is the case of operating cords Plans, Long and reduction, as well as staff areas. That is, certifies that Sidor has established a Quality Management System which covers the design, manufacture, marketing and technical support for their products.
