Hubei government organizes matchmaking meeting with Wuhan

It is reported that a Matchmaking Meeting, organized by Hubei provincial Development and Reform Commission was held October 16th between local key projects owners and Wuhan Iron & Steel Group.

There are total 148 projects under construction in the province this year with planned investment of CNY 136.2 billion and expected need of steel products of 2.65 million tonnes including construction steel products, section steel and steel plate and sheet.

Related official with the Commission said that they picked up 24 of local key projects for this matchmaking meeting, involving communication, energy, water conservancy and civic infrastructure construction.

To bail the steel group out the industrial winter, the local government also launched an Advice about promoting the sales of the Group steel products in the province by putting a target for local main steel users of adopting the Group’ products as much as 80% of their total consumption.

As per report, the Group has come to terms with local consumers concerning over 5m tons of steel products by now.
