Proactive Investors reported that emerging copper and gold producer Queensland Mining Corporation has wrapped up a Sub Audio Magnetics survey over its Morris Creek tenement near Cudeco’s world class Rocklands Copper Gold in Queensland.
The survey has identified several strong conductive zones in the central north of the tenement area, where comparable ideologies to those hosting the Rockland Copper Gold Project are present. All these targets areas correlate well with mapped faults/shear zones and outcropping copper mineralization.
The orientation of the targets survey were also found to display a strike of about 310 degrees, which is the same as the major mineralized trends at the adjoining Rockland Copper Gold Project. The pattern and orientation of the conductivity anomalies resemble those found in the adjacent Cudeco’s Rockland copper gold project.
In total about 71 line kilometers at line spacing of 50 meters were completed by Gap Geophysics Australia, with 4 target areas identified with cumulative strike length up to 2600 meters.
The SAM geophysical survey has been proved to be one of the most successful techniques in assisting in identifying the locations for drill targets within the region of Morris Creek.
