Tokyo Steel unit Tahara to start steel products supply

According to Japan’s Tokyo Steel, its subsidiary Tahara in Aichi Prefecture will supply steel products on November 2nd 2009, which includes reinforcing steel bar, heavy plates, hot rolled plates and rhombic checkered steel plates.
Moreover, the plant will have equipment maintenance during the period from November 22nd 2009 to November 28th 2009 and the steel making equipments will run into operation in March 2010.
Meanwhile, Tahara plant has plans to purchase local scrap after January 2010.
