ABS partnership pledge jobs for proposed Gladstone steel plant

Mr Jawad Zulqadar MD of Arabia for Business Strategies is inspecting the Gladstone Steel Project.
Boulder is in a partnership with ABS to acquire raw material resources in Australia. The partnership has also proposed building a steel plant in Gladstone.
According to Mr Zulqadar, the partnership will aim to acquire raw materials for the Gladstone steel plant, in order to create new employment opportunities locally.
ABS claims it wants to ensure off-take for semi-finished steel products from Gladstone and assist with the development of infrastructure, if necessary.
Due to the time needed to complete the evaluation of the acquisition opportunities, Boulder and ABS have agreed to extend their memorandum of understanding to 18 December 2009.
