Alstom awarded maintenance deal worth EUR 22 million to Mantena

It is reported that Alstom Transport has awarded Norwegian train maintenance company Mantena a 7 year contract worth EUR 22 million to maintain the 49 Coradia Nordic electric multiple units which will be delivered to Skånetrafiken from November 2009.
Under the contract announced on October 22nd 2009, Alstom will supply Mantena with spare parts for the units, which were ordered in December 2006 at a cost of EUR 240 million and are currently being built at Salzgitter in Germany.
