Laiwu ink CNY 11 billion contracts in 2009 China Steel Expo

It is reported that Laiwu one of the emerging industrial city in China and famous for its steelmaking industry witnessed the start and close of 2009 China Steel Expo which fetched about 600 traders from 19 countries in for steel transactions.

From October 25th to October 26th the expo eyed 30 contracts signed with each investment of over CNY 100 million or USD 10 million. In total there were CNY 11.76 billion of contracts happened in the expo.

Laiwu boasting 20 million tonnes per year steel capacity is one of important steelmaking and auto accessory processing bases in Shandong.
