Sterlite Industries disclosed a considerable decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2009. During the quarter the profit of the company declined 24.91% to INR 9,588.5 million from INR 12769.4 million in the same quarter last year. Its net sales declined 7.71% to INR 60,854.6 million.
Sterlite Industries total Income has decreased 9.55% from INR 72,058.20 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2008 to INR 65,178.00 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2009.
